About WOAR’s Education Department
WOAR’s effort to eliminate sexual violence is rooted in changing attitudes and practices which perpetrate all forms of violence.
Annually, WOAR provides over 1800 Preventive Education programs for schools, community and professional organizations throughout Philadelphia. Conducted by a qualified staff of professionals, educational programs are tailored to address the concerns and needs of the audience requesting the workshop, training or program.
To ensure the safety of those receiving services, WOAR’s Education staff obtained Child Abuse, Federal and State Background checks.
Contract and Honorarium fees received for services enable WOAR to provide FREE of CHARGE counseling and treatment for victims of sexual violence.
