The CORE support group is a 10-week OPEN psycho-education group for adult survivors of sexual violence of any gender identification.
Topics covered in CORE include knowledge on common reactions after a sexual violence experience, coping skills/self-care, anger, guilt and self-blame, and relaxation techniques.
The goals of CORE group focus on raising awareness of sexual violence, healing techniques, and connecting with other survivors for support. Group participants are asked not to share graphic sexual violent experiences in the group.
CORE group meets every Monday from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm.
