WOAR-Philadelphia Center Against Sexual Violence was founded in 1971. Since 1971, WOAR-Philadelphia Center Against Sexual Violence has fought for the rights of women. We are deeply disappointed in the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe Vs. Wade, and we hope that the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will continue to support all women in Pennsylvania.
WOAR stands with the Pennsylvania Coalition to Advance Respect.
WOAR stands with our partners in the City of Philadelphia and our supporters. We will continue to advocate for the rights of women as we have always done, and we want you to know that you are seen, you are heard, and we are here for you.
If you are in crisis or need to talk to someone, please reach out to WOAR’s 24 Hour Hotline at 215-985-3333.
